In this book, the authors present the complex issues around the child labour phenomenon in general, and specifically in the informal economy, and to examine good practices for the effective monitoring of labour legislation and child labour. The volume examines the trends and challenges facing labour inspection and child labour inspections in selected transition economies such as Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Brazil, Ethiopia, Ghana, Jordan, Myanmar, Namibia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and ASEAN countries.
