Sean Crossley, born in Melbourne (1987), lives and works in Brussels. Crossley’s painting thinks about how forms can produce and perform within cultures of abundance, speed and fragmentation. He sees painting as a fertile site for the synthesis and transformation of images, gestures and materials – all of which he considers interchangeable on any conceptual, material or perceptual level.
