Facing english text Il Museo Centrale del Risorgimento nacque alla fine del XIX secolo con il proposito di illustrare i momenti ed i protagonisti degli eventi storici che portarono all'Unità d'Italia. Sono raccolti oggetti diversi che oggi sono diventati dei veri e propri documenti, delle testimonianze puntuali e rievocative dei fatti e dei protagonisti dell'epopea risorgimentale. Tutto il percorso espositivo del Museo diventa pertanto un archivio della memoria del Risorgimento alimentato dalle suggestioni degli eventi che hanno creato l'Italia. The Museo Centrale del Risorgimento was proposed at the end of the nineteenth century, to illustrate the episodes and leading figures involved in the historic events that led to Italian unification. These items have today become veritable documents, bearing specific and evocative witness to the events and key figures in the story of Italy's epic Risorgimento. The Museum's exhibits are an archive that conserves the memory of the Risorgimento, fed by the evocative nature of the events that led to the foundation of Italy.
